Managing Your Communication

2 Day Workshop

Everyone has something to say, but not everyone communicates well. Everyone has a message that should be communicated and heard. Learning to communicate your message is much more challenging than it may seem. It is a skill that does not always become naturally.
Communication affects all areas of your life. Good communication skills can improve relationships and increase performance. Poor communication can reduce trust, damage relationships, and ultimately lead to the failure of projects, teams and organisations.
Improving your communications skills requires willingness to self-reflect honestly, and the courage to change behaviours.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
•  Understand how the mind and emotions effect communication.
•  Learn how rapport is created.
•  Learn how we take in information.
•  Learn the different ways people communicate.
•  Identify the most common barriers for communication.
•  Explain the 5 C’s of Effective Communication.
•  Learn how to listen effectively.
•  Apply effective strategies for face to face communication.

Learn how to create goals that really get into your unconscious, so you achieve the outcomes you want.

This workshop includes setting goals and creating a vision board for the future.

Managing Your Stress

1/2 Day Workshop

When was the last time you took time out for yourself to push pause on the world and learn how to integrate self-care practices into your daily routine?
This is a 4 hour workshop run on a Saturday morning, as i know how busy life can be during the week.
No robes, or religious affiliation. We sit on chairs (unless you prefer otherwise).
The morning will include some discussion on how to reduce stress, learning some tools to take away, and some short guided meditations.
Coming from the corporate world, and commuting to Sydney for 20 years, I understand the rush of work/business life, and how it can be difficult to press pause.

My four-week course (1 hour per week) is a great place to begin if you are new to meditation.
If you have a busy mind (and life), lack discipline and can’t sit still, that’s OK. My approach is user-friendly, realistic and practical, and helps you build a sustainable and balanced meditation practice.
I lay the foundation for learning the practice of meditation for the first time. You will get an introduction to what meditation can do for you.
This course will help you to establish a successful home practice using easy techniques. You will learn take home skills on how to create a meditation practice that works for you.
